Trouble in seeing the CAPTCHA

when i request a bridge

i meet a trouble in seeing the CAPTCHA, so can’t prove i’m not a robot, and so won’t get the bridge

i’m in PR China
win10 (4diffrent computers, met this very problem) and tor browser versions are 13.0.9 to 13.0.10,13.5a5

This is due to (Fix) Problems with Snowflake since 2024-03-01:"broker failure Unexpected error, no answer." and the relevant Tor Browser ticket, Update moat domain fronting configuration (#42435) · Issues · The Tor Project / Applications / Tor Browser · GitLab.

This should be fixed in Tor Browser soon but in the meantime please try the following:

Connect to Snowflake:

  • Click on ‘Configure Connection’ from the start-up screen and new tab should open up.
  • Scroll down to ‘Bridges’ and click on ‘Select a Built-in Bridge’. Under the “Bridges” section, from the option “Enter a bridge address you already know” click on “Add a Bridge Manually” and enter each snowflake address on a separate line:

although the snowflakes solve the connection problem
but, the captcha (pop up in the request bridge stage ) is still all blank to me, like the screenshot above.
am i the only person met the captcha problem ?

Most likely the problem you are seeing is due to the broken domain fronting used by the moat client to download the CAPTCHA in the first place.

Can you verify this problem still exists for you in the latest stable (just published):
