Hello everyone I have been running a tor node off and on for the past two years and I plan to be running full time now but I just wanna ask how to become a directory authority. I know it takes a lot of trust and a lot of time being a part of the community and I plan on it taking many many years of running a tor node but I would love to work from the ground up to be apart of the select few helping to vote on the new nodes that join this fine anonymous Network. So I would love to know what does it take to become a directory authority

I believe several Tor People¹ should have known you personally for years.

But I don't think that new directory server will be needed, otherwise they
would already be set up. Most directories run at well-known universities.
But exit and bridges are always needed
