I recently ran a speed test over Tor just mostly out of interest with the expectation that I might get maybe 2 or 3MB per second but surprisingly I got over 7MB per second at peak followed by zero upload speed; it just ended the test after sitting at 0.00 for a few seconds. Add in the fact that I’m also connected to the internet through a multi hop VPN and you can see why its slightly concerning. This was using the latest release of Tor Browser Android (update installed today)
Same for me on speedtest.net, but e.g. highspeedinternet.com reports a couple of MB/s. So, probably just a speedtest.net issue.
