What do the surrounding at sign(@) meaning in the tor manual?e.g. @CONFDIR@/torrc
the context:Tor Project: manual
If it is one general concept(such as $ in $HOME/.torrc meaning shell/environment variable of “HOME”) I want get some introduction link. thank you.

I am not a programmer, but sometimes write small tools. That @ usually only has something to do with documentation.

If you write inline documentation, then tools that automatically create documentation for your code can get instructions from it. See Writing kernel-doc comments — The Linux Kernel documentation

What you found here is surely to be interpreted like an environment variable. As you wrote yourself, @CONFDIR@ points to a predefined CONFDIR=
