TorBrowser 12.0.3 (no) proxy setup problems

Hello,
I like to use an instance of TorBrowser configured for clearnet (so not trough the TOR network) to use it as a everyday browser. I enjoy it much more than other browsers/firefox flavors and have been doing so for years.
(And yes, I know, this is not the intended use for TB and should normally be avoided, but as I said, this is a separate instance, for clear net, because I prefer it to the Firefox et al.)

However the recent version 12.0.3 changed something, and my usual settings don’t work anymore.

Up to this version I ran the browser with TOR_SKIP_LAUNCH=1 TOR_TRANSPROXY=1 variables
and had these configured in about:config

network.proxy.type = 0
network.proxy.socks_remote_dns = false
network.dns.disabled = false
extensions.torlauncher.start_tor = false
extensions.torbutton.test_enabled = false
extensions.torbutton.startup = false

It still worked with the previous version 12.0.2 but does not work with the new one (12.0.3).

Can anyone please help me adjust the configuration so I can continue using 12.0.3 as described?
I’d really appreciate it!

Thank you!

You can use Mullvad Browser

While it’s called “Mullvad Browser”, it’s actually developed by Tor Project themselves for the use case of “I want the same privacy protections as TBB but don’t want to use the Tor network.”
