Hello everyone!
Campaign update: the Golden Gate Kit is totally gone now!
If you’ve deployed 10 bridges till today (December 16 2021, 1900 UTC) you’re classified to get a Golden Gate Kit, which means if your bridges is running and online, you will get your kit as described on the blog post.

I’m testing all your bridges and checking its availability. It’s important to keep your bridges online and running. The other kits are still available. Thanks everyone!

I’m happy to help Tor. So far, I have created 2 bridges that run 24/7. I care about anonymity and private users. I hope to get these things over time.

A post was split to a new topic: Snowflake in Orbot

Hi, setup two bridges so far and also running a middle relay. Feels good to play my small role in this fight which I am sure i don’t get the full scale of.

Hi! I just joined the tor project and started my first bridge about a week ago:
10140C4EA056A81FC4CA3CEA941361F1FC5FD7BF

In the past, I’ve often thought about running a relay to support privacy via the tor network but never got around to it. For me, finding the docker container for an obfs4 bridge made setup and especially maintenance a lot easier, thanks for this. I’m happy to contribute some bandwidth, even if only in a small way. Happy holidays and all the best for 2020!

Will the Golden Gate Kit be backfilled in case bridges do not sustain the requested level of quality for the entire duration?

Here are my bridges up and running!

Nickname - Metrics Link

Kyoshi - Relay Search

Korra - Relay Search

Yangchen - FAFB8A6908BB6D9CE0522C0A9D91B3BA4518E44D (I can only post two links as a new user so here is the Fingerprint of the 3rd Bridge)

I wonder are there still Helix kits left? I might just have to add two more then

I noticed a big dropoff in users on my first bridge, after 22 Dec 2021 about 100 users per day were lost: daily users dropped from 110-120 to only 10-20 per day:
https://metrics.torproject.org/rs.html#details/10140C4EA056A81FC4CA3CEA941361F1FC5FD7BF

Is this related to new censorship or other measures? It’s troubling to see this happened within a week after the new bridge was started. I’m open for suggestions how to remedy this.

In the meantime I’ve spun up a second bridge as I understand you can run two on a singe IP, so here is the second hash:
764453A8DE47E97A53606925400F2CB916C5E7B7

Yes, Russia government is enumerating and blocking Tor bridges.

You can rotate your bridge IP address. Or, if you’re running your bridge in a cloud provider, just destroy the instance and deploy again.

Russia is blocking by IP address, so a second bridge with the same IP address and different port won’t help here.

Thanks @gus, unfortunately I have no means to change/rotate my IP address. So there is little I can do, only keep the bridge online and hope that users in other countries will find it.
